The Deccan College of Medical Sciences (DCMS) is one of the oldest and most sought-after medical colleges in State of Telangana. With its modern infrastructure, state-of-art equipment and highly qualified and motivated teaching staff, the college produces 150 high-caliber medical graduates each year.DCMS is recognized by the National Medical Commission and affiliated to the Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences of the State of Telangana. It is governed by the Darussalam Educational Trust under the provision of Article 30(1) of the Constitution of India. Although primarily a Muslim Minority medical college, the College also admits non-minority students.Deccan College of Medical Sciences is established by a Muslim Minority Trust i.e., Dar-Us-Salam Educational Trust which constituted to promote education and welfare of weaker sections of Muslims. Primarily benefits of this college goes to the Muslim Minority, no profit is involved in running the college.In order to provide Medical aid, Hospitals and Health Centres have been established attached to this college which are working for eradication of diseases and improvement of health of the poor public.A Research Centre for liver diseases has also been established in this college. The continuing of Medical Education Unit at the Deccan College of Medical Sciences recognizes its responsibility to promote lifelong learning through the provision of well-designed educational experiences for physicians, others involved in health care delivery, and benefit the community at large.

Computer Laboratory
Considering today's need for computerization, our College is proud to have all the infrastructure facilities in certain faculties such as Commerce, Geography and Mathematics. These departments have their own computer laboratories with modern equipment and necessary software (Microsoft Office, Mathematica, Matlab, Latex, C++ software, etc.) to meet the needs of students. In addition, the library also has an e-resource center, which provides access to e-resources among other things.
Library
Shahid Bhagat Singh College has a fully computerized barcode library. The library has a computer lending system with barcodes. We have two computers dedicated to OPAC (Online Public Access Catalog) book searches. This collection is enriched by his over 86,796 books on various research fields. The library also subscribes to over 100 of his periodicals in various fields (national and international, specifically Harvard Business Review, The Economist, etc.). The library also has a small computer lab for accessing electronic resources subscribed to by the College of Delhi through the College's intranet and the Internet. The Library also holds orientation programs from time to time and provides orientation in electronic resources for accessing bibliographic databases and full-text databases available through the College's intranet and the INFLIBNET Consortium and Information Literacy Program. Students are encouraged to inquire about various library services with Dr. Puja Anand Gulati, Librarian.
Canteen
The College campus has a spacious and well-ventilated canteen building with ample seating, separate from the academic blocks. We provide students and faculty with a variety of snacks, food, tea, coffee, and other beverages at low prices. The canteen committee monitors food quality, care and hygiene. A proposal to renovate the cafeteria was recently approved by the Building Committee and Board of Directors.
Seminar Rooms
The College has two seminar rooms equipped with state-of-the-art equipment. The College organizes seminars, workshops and lectures with the active participation of students and teachers. Prominent scientists and experts from academic and business organizations are invited to interact with students and give lectures.
