Mahajubilee Training College, (Christian Minority Community) Mulloorkara is a self-financing college of Education for conducting M.Ed. and B.Ed. courses. It is affiliated to the University of Calicut and recognized by N.C.T.E. It is a minority Institution organized and managed by the Educational Agency of the Archdiocese of Thrissur. The most important objective of this college is to train good teachers who are able to give integral formation to students, the future of our nation. We want to develop this institution into a center of excellence in education. The college is established to achieve its motto ""Learn, Live and Teach". The college was officially inaugurated on 5th September 2002 with an intake of 100 students. This is the first professional college under the Archdiocese of Trichur which gives preparation for all students, irrespective of caste and creed.

Candidates applying online in Mahajubilee Training College must necessarily send a hard copy of the complete application form along with all attested photocopies of all relevant documents to the institute campus.For UG courses, candidate must have passed 10+2 examination from a recognized board for eligibility.For PG courses, candidate must have obtain Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline from a recognized university for eligibility.Candidates appearing in their final year exam of the qualifying program are also eligible to apply and will be granted provisional admission.
Admission to MSW is done on the basis of entrance exam conducted by institute followed by interview.
Admission to UG and PG courses is done on the basis of merit in the qualifying examination followed by Interview.Management candidates can seek direct admission to the program.
All candidates except those apply for the 20% seats under management quota are selected on the basis of merit of marks of the last qualifying exam followed by personal interview.
Admission to Ph.D. is done on the basis of entrance test followed by Interview.
For Ph.D., candidate must have passed Master’s degree in relevant discipline for eligibility.
Reservation is provided as per norms set by University of Calicut and the State Govt. of Kerala.The basic eligibility criteria for admission to the UG programs is a pass in 10+2 or equivalent exam from a recognized board. Only pass at 10+2 with science stream candidates are admitted to the B.Sc. program. For admission to the B.Com. Program, candidates are required to have studied at least one Commerce subject at 10+2 level. Selection of candidates is done on the basis of 10+2 merit, followed by a personal interview.
Candidates seeking admission to the UG courses must fill the application form online and send a hard copy of the same to the institute campus. The application fee can be paid using credit/ debit card or net banking. Those wishing to pay the application fee through DD can send the same along with the hard copy of the complete application from.
The College Men’s hostel can accommodate around 300 students. Deluxe and semi-deluxe rooms are available. Well-arranged and spacious mess halls and kitchen meet all the demands of inmates in time without any compromise on hygiene. Various recreational facilities are also made available here.
Girls Hostel
The College ladies hostel block ‘A’ is named after Kamala Kaul Nehru, wife of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. This block can house 300 students and the ‘B’ block of women’s hostel is named after our illustrious former Prime Minister Smt. Indira Gandhi.
The college has a health center with a first aid facility for the students.
Gym
The College Fitness Center houses an ultra-modern gymnasium, catering to the needs of fitness enthusiasts. Staff and students use the gymnasium under the guidance of professional trainers.
Library
The College Central Library is located on the ground floor of the Brahmagupta block and is the real center of learning. The library has got a rich collection of books on different domains of Science and Technology, journals, periodicals, and other printed materials besides audio, visual, and electronic information service, media workshops.
Sports
The college has sports facilities for all students.
I.T Infrastructure
The College Computer Lab provides a central facility for the growth and development of the college. The Internet Lab provides Installation & Maintenance of Servers for Internet Access, E-mailing, and other Computational Facilities.

The College has a canteen that is, of course, the most vibrant rendezvous where the students freely share views and feelings with their friends. It is, indeed, an integral part of student life on the campus.

The college has an auditorium facility for events and seminars.
Transport Facility
The college provides a transportation facility for both students and the staff. There are more than 40 buses, both AC and Non AC, to take care of the students’ traveling requirements which cover most of the Thrissur, Palakkad, and Malappuram districts.

The college has a departmental based laboratory facility for the students such as Digital Electronics Lab, Linear Integrated Circuits Lab, Microprocessor and Microcontroller Lab, Electrical Machines Lab, Power Electronics and Devices Lab, Electric Drives Lab, Instrumentation and Control Lab, etc.,

The College has an ATM counter of Punjab National Bank Ltd functions at the Main Entrance of the college. Students pay their fees through the bank and the staff draws their salaries from the bank. Besides staff and students, the public too can avail themselves of banking facilities.

Since I am a student from the computer science branch there are lots of opportunities available. There are lots of placements for the computer science branch. Even another branch student also gets placed in computer science streams. Starting from the 6th semester the students get placed at various companies like Wipro, TCS, Infosys etc. More than 180+ companies provide offers for the placements. More than 60% of students get placed in the computer science branch. I would like to open up my own business after completing my degree. There are some hours allocated for placement training in the first year itself. And from the second year, there is a separate 5-day placement training sections per semester. Also, some webinars are conducted sometimes. Infosys, TCS, Wipro, Paytm, Cognizant, AtosGlobal etc.. are the main companies who visit our college. Almost 70% of students are getting placed in my department. The recruitment is mainly from the CS department. The average salary package offered is about 3.5lac per year.From 6th semester they are eligible for campus placement. 2000+ students were placed on recent campus placements. My plan is to plan and prepare for the campus placements. Many offers upto 10 lakhs per annum is the greatest offer.Campus placements starts generally from the seventh semester in the fourth year. Nehru institutions have a lot of hold with multinational companies so a lot of companies like TCS, BPL, Amazon are offering placements to students who have no back papers. The highest package offered by companies is 9lakhs per year and the average salary is 4000/month. Mainly placements are offered to computer science engineering students comparatively.
