Padmashree Annasaheb Jadhav Bharatiya Samaj Unnati Mandal owes its genesis to the quintessentially epochal endeavours and perseverance of the preeminent social reformer Padmashree AnnasahebJadhav who dared to promote education for downtrodden and Adivasis in face of harsh social mores. Padmashree Annasaheb Jadhav, a great visionary in his rights, formed Harijan Girijan Samaj Unnati Mandal on 8th June, 1948 with the help of activists committed to the cause of the dissemination of education to children of backward classes, downtrodden and Adivasis in Thane district, where the rate of illiteracy was very high because the education facilities were not available. Since the Thane district is dominated with Adivasi population the concept of education to the door step of children was accepted and education from KG to PG was envisioned. Education facilities through this management were also expanded in various districts of Maharashtra and also in 10 other states of India. Today, the college has gained reputation in terms of infrastructure and academics under the able guidance and expertise our of visionary President Shri Vijayji Jadhav and visionary Executive President Shri. Balkrishna D. Kale, sir. The Mandal Trust has been known as Padmashree Annasaheb Jadhav Bharatiya Samaj Unnati Mandal since April 30, 1984. Mandals His Trust He entered the education field by establishing a boarding school in 1948.

Facilities of BNN College in Maharashtra

College Libraries: The College has two libraries, one on the first floor for traditional courses and one on the third floor for self-funded/professional courses. In addition to textbooks, the library offers subscriptions to a variety of periodicals, including periodicals, periodicals, and newspapers of regional and national repute. Auditorium /Seminar Hall: An auditorium is being constructed aiming to provide decorated stage and a good sitting capacity for participants in College. The auditorium will be used for organizing various College functions including Seminars, Workshops, meetings, Cultural Shows etc.

Halls and Rooms: Several spacious Rooms and Halls are available for Course classes. These halls and rooms have un-interrupted power supply.

Counselor: The College has the full-time counselor for students as well as for teaching and non-teaching staff.

Health and Sanitation Facilities: Teachers and students have access to the Aqua drinking water system 24 hours a day. Sanitation facilities with sufficient urinals and toilets are available for teachers and students. The women's restrooms on the first and second floors are equipped with simple coin-operated sanitary napkin dispensers and incinerators. There are separate offers for boys and girls on each floor.

Safety Measures: For the safety of students, staff will be stationed at the College gates and the entry and exit of outsiders will be monitored and recorded. Moreover, the College has boundary walls and the entire premises are under CCTV surveillance.

Information Resources: Students have access to various information sources like College Notice Board, Library Notice Board, Separate Departmental Notice Board. Information is notified in due time by the concerned notification authority. Moreover, Students have access to facilities like Internet and WI-FI connectivity in entire College campus.
