The college is affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam, and started functioning in June 2006. This institution has been established with the main objective of imparting good quality education to students aspiring to achieve academic excellence in a truly congenial and disciplined atmosphere. Our library proactively acquires and organizes information resources, in all allied subjects, to meet the present and future needs of its users. It is having an extensive collection of books, magazines and journals for the academic fraternity. There are a number of rare and precious books in different subjects. There is multiplicity of copies of all essential text books. The library also subscribes to a number of journals, reviews, periodicals, magazines and newspapers. Students can access the library between 9.30 a.m. and 4.00 p.m. on all working days.
Computer Lab
College is equipped with a well managed and networked computer lab to meet the requirement of all the courses. Computer lab has all the latest infrastructure that is required to fullfill the requirements of various courses as per the University guide lines.

Placement Cell
St.Thomas Arts and Science College has a dedicated Placement & Training Cell which conducts various training sessions on Personality Development, Team work, Aptitude and Career Guidance for the Students to enhance & brush up their skills. Placement cell conducts various campus recruitment drives in association with leading companies in Information technology and other domains.
Placement Procedure for Students
1. The St.Thomasians and alumni are notified about various job opportunities and recruitments through FaceBook page, Placement StThomascollege, The official Facebook page of Placement & training cell of St.Thomas Arts And Science College
2. The students of St.Thomas College are given the opportunity to attend pool drives conducted in various colleges.
3. Placement Cell will allow only registered students of the College to sit in the programme coordinated by it.
4. All the information will be sent on the email of the registered students.
5. The Placement Cell will take responsibility for the placement and internship of its students in reputed institutions, and will intervene in case the institution changes its policy from the time of recruitment of the student.
