The founder of Rajasthan Engineering College Dr. R.S. Nagar had The vision to make the engineering college with a difference and so right from the start emphasis was laid on good infrastructure and well qualified staff that would cultivate and nurture every entrant into the portals of REC and inspire them to excellence. This meant setting up policies and processes that would ensure this objective.

Transport Facility: REC has a fleet of buses for students an staff from important points Dausa to Jaipur (Jagatpura, Mansarovar, Malviya Nagar, Vidhyadhar Nagar, Jhotwara, Jawahar Nagar, Amer Road ets.) at nominal charges.
Internet Facility: A separate Internet Laboratory is established which provides round the clock Internet facility through leased line.
Canteen Facility:A Spacious and well furnished canteen caters to all requirement of students. In additional to this Saras Milk Parlor and Cafe' Cofee Day also has been added in the campus. A large common room and rest room for unwell day scholars also exits, lunch in the hostel is also available for Day scholars.
Medical Facility: A dispensary with dental care unit has been added in the campus. Three nursing homes in the vicinity have been empanelled when ever hospitalization becomes necessary. Round the clock transports facility is available for the sick students.
Library: The AC Library in our college is, well furnished with 6000 books related to curriculum is directed towards academic excellence with rich collection of exhaustive text and reference books. The Library also subscribes to E-Journals and 55 major technical magazines & journals. It is also envisaged to network the library with other national and international libraries. The book bank facility is also available for the students and SC/ST book bank exclusively established for the same category students. The library is computerized and with conductive environment, students are encouraged to spend maximum time in the library to keep themselves up to date.
GYM:A well equipped air conditioned GYM has been append to both the hostels in the campus. It has state of art equipment and latest user friendly Video Cassettes for benefit of learners. Sports officer is always ready to help the beginners.
Hostels: The institute has fully furnished separate hostel facilities for boy and girls. These are supported by on excellent mess, common room, STD-PCO, internet access, canteens, provision store, medical assistance/bus station during official break. Both the hostels are air-cooled, the boys hostel has 200 seats in double/triple seated rooms. There is large air-cooled girl's hostel in the campus having 200 seats in double/triple seated rooms.
