Admissions Open in Nattika Sree Narayana College

Enlivened by Sree Narayana Guru's call to look for opportunity and edification through training, a couple of recognized residents of Nattika, wanted to begin a College in this retrogressive territory. They looked for the direction of Sree Narayana Trusts, Kollam. A gathering managed by the Late Sri. R. Sankar, held at Ayyanthole, Thrissur, on fifteenth October 1965 took the choice to build up the College. Subsequently, Nattika Sree Narayana College Local Committee was established which chose the Late Sri. T. R. Raghavan as President and the Late Adv. N. K. Kuttiraman as Secretary. The board of trustees continued with the undertaking to gather reserves, secure land and property and set up a structure for the college.Messrs Elite Fabrics, Thrissur contributed the land worth more than Rs. 1 Lakh. The board of trustees prevailing with regards to gathering the essential assets inside an astoundingly brief period. The Foundation stone of the structure was laid by the Late Sri. R. Sankar within the sight of a huge, recognized assembling on tenth April 1966. The structure was finished inside as far as possible and alliance was verified from the University of Kerala. The school was officially initiated by the Late Sri. K. Ayyappan (Sahodaran) on 30th June 1967. The school was partnered to the recently established University of Calicut in July 1969. the school achieved the status of a first grade school in Kerala in June 1970 with the beginning of Degree courses in Economics, Commerce, Botany and Zoology. B. Sc. Material science was begun in 1978, M. Com in 1979 and B. Sc. Science in 1981. The South-Block was developed in 1982. B.Sc. Science and M. Sc. Zoology was begun in 1983 and, M.Sc. Science in 1984. The development of the North Block was finished in 1992 and the structure was initiated by the Late Sri. M. K. Raghavan, the then Gen. Secretary of S. N. Trusts. The Silver Jubilee of the school was commended during 1993-1994. B. A. Malayalam was begun around the same time. The school gained further progress when M. A. Financial aspects was begun in 1995, M. Sc. Material science in 1998, M. Sc. Natural science in 1999 and M.Sc. Applied Chemistry in 2001. With the appraisal and accreditation by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with B+ Grade in 2005 the school anticipate scale better statures in the years to come. The school expects co-activity from every one of the parts of the general public in keeping up the notoriety of this foundation as a focal point of greatness.
