Ezhuthachan College of Pharmaceutical Sciences is one of the (pioneer) institutes in Pharmaceutical Education started by the Ezhuthachan National Academy. The college is committed in rendering quality education in the field of Pharmacy. The faculty of the college is a congregation of scholars with a laudable track record as teachers, trainers. professionals and researchers. Most of them have Masters Degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences and have several years of experience. Many of them have several research publications in National and International journals and seminars to their credit. The College is conducting seminars and Symposia at frequent intervals with a view to update the knowledge of the teachers and nurture the students to develop tutorial skills. The College also arranges training facilities for students under the best available Hospitals and Manufacturing Units during the third and final years. The College also aims at providing 100% placements for the students passing out of this College.

PCI-Pharmacy Council of India
The pharmacy council of India (PCI) recognized 6 year Pharm.D (a doctor of pharmacy) course and 3 year Pharm.D PB (post baccalaureate) in India, there is an increase in the scope of pharmacy to meet the ever-growing needs of healthcare industry.The duration of course shall be 6 years including 5 year of class room study (phase 1) and 1 year of internship or residency (phase 2) in speciality departments. During this intership period a student is exposed to actual clinical practice and acquires in-depth understanding of pharmacy practice concept so that he/she may become capable of functioning independently. Pharm.D is different in its course content from the undergraduate B.pharm and the Postgraduate M.Pharm course. However; it was more learning towards pharmaceutical industry than clinical practice. This gap was meant to be fulfilled by the Pharm.D programme. After successful completion of Pharm.D, the graduates enable to prefix the title of "Dr" for practising and they can work as clinical pharmacist, hospital pharmacist, nuclear pharmacist, researcher, Pharmacovigilance associate, oncology pharmacist, poison control pharmacist, psychiatric pharmacist, medical writer, medical advisor and regulatory pharmacist etc.
A Candidate who has passed the Higher Secondary Examination of the Kerala State with Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Mathematics as optional Subjects and equivalent thereto are eligible to apply.
Boys Hostel
The College Hostel facilities are provided for boys near the campus premises.
Girls Hostel
The College Hostel facilities are provided for girls near the campus premises.

The college has a health center with a first aid facility for the students.
Gym
The college has a Gym facility for the students.
Library
The college library is the key resource of information for the academic community. It started functioning right from the beginning of the college in 1964. At present, it has attained the position of a first-grade library and research center with more than 25000 books and about 250 CDs.

The college has sports facilities for all students.
I.T Infrastructure
The College has a well-set-up computer lab with adequate computers and accessories to meet the challenges in the field of Information technology has been established. It conducts training programs and short-term computer courses aiming at 100% computer literacy in the campus community.

The College canteen within the campus offers meals and snacks at subsidized rates. The food prepared in hygienic conditions caters to the needs of the students.

The College has an aesthetically designed Seminar Hall where all the important workshops and seminars are held. The seminar hall is facilitated with the latest technology and is well–equipped with multimedia projectors.

There were many opportunities for us and I was trying to join as a clinical pharmacist.Candidates who have secured minimum 50% marks (40% for the reserved category) in 10+2 examination and have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as compulsory subjects from Board of Higher Secondary Education of Kerala or equivalent and have also qualified NEET-UG or any State level medical entrance examination conducted by the Government of Kerala are considered eligible to get admission in BDS course. Candidates must also pass English subject at 10+2 level. Candidate with B.Sc. degree in Physics, Chemistry and Biology or with Pre- Medical Examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology are also eligible to apply.Admission to BDS course is given based on the merit list prepared by evaluating the result of NEET-UG and marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology in the qualifying examination. It is compulsory for the applicants to obtain at least 50% marks (40% for the reserved category and 45% for PH candidates) in NEET UG to get admission in the course.
