A group of enlightened citizens of Malleshwaram felt a need to open a college in Malleshwaram particularly to provide facilities to girl students, who had to go as far as Maharanis College for their courses in higher learning. The founders Sri. G. A. Acharya, Prof.B.R. Subba Rao, Sri. M.Chinnaswamy, Sri M. R. Narasimha Iyengar, Prof. M. P. L. Sastry and Smt Vimala Rangachar responded to this need by starting an intermediate college in 15th Cross, Malleshwaram, and started the institution in 1956-57 with a student strength of 68. In its infant stages the MES INSTITUTIONS was housed in a small dwelling Anandashram, which recalled the ancient Guru Kula with a good rapport between the small number of students and their teachers. From this humble beginning the college has grown gradually into a full-fledged college. MES has grown with its ideal of spreading academic culture in several ways. Its aim has always been to provide value based education at affordable cost and to strive for the cultural growth of the student. The college celebrated its Silver Jubilee in 1982 and Golden Jubilee in 2006. In the course of its historical development MES Institutions has acquired great prominence not only in Karnataka but also in the country. At present MES institutions manages Two Schools, Four PU Colleges, Three Degree Colleges, PG & Research Centre. Anybody who enters MES Institutions will feel and experience the silken touch of care, compassion and concern, which embody the philosophy of learning pursued here.

The admission to PG Bcourses offered by MES College of Arts Commerce and Science is based on merit. Candidates must have a Bachelors’ degree in the relevant discipline from a recognized university to secure admission.
The application process for PG courses is conducted offline. Candidates will have to get the application form and prospectus from the college by paying the desired application fee.Candidates must have passed the 10+2 examination or equivalent from a recognized board of education to be eligible for admission into UG courses.Candidates must have a Bachelor degree in the relevant discipline to be eligible for admission into PG courses.

Candidates will have to get the application form along with the prospectus directly from the college.
Application forms, duly filled must be submitted to the college along with the copies of the following documents:
Mark sheets. (10+2-mark sheet and graduation mark sheet in case of PG admission)
Transfer Certificate.
Other relevant documents regarding reservation.
Separate application forms will need to be submitted for different combination of subjects.
The selection of candidates is based on merit.
Selected candidates will have to visit the college to complete the application process.

The college has a good library with more than 5,000 volumes belonging to different subjects. The management is always very considerate in purchasing d books and subscribing to journals and periodicals and newspapers and thus keep the library and reading room up-to-date.

No,Our college does nit support internship.Consodering job oppertunities,it is not that much big field for job scopes.But, the one studies properly will surely be grafuated and will get a nice job.Main area of profession is teaching after graduation.In my college they conduct some kind of job fest but in that one i dont think so it worked properly.there is no internship in our college.so that there is no stipend also. But as the cource has the wide oppurtunity.Talking about placement our college does not provide placement and job opportunities. And college not giving any type of stipends to the student. My overall experience was iam not satisfied with my college.As far it is an Science College it should not provide Placement it mostly focused on its academics and If you completed your course with desirable Grade you could Your higher studies , The certificate of the college Approved by Any university in the World as far as it is affiliated With University of Calicut.This college does not provides any internship or placement. As it is only self financing college under calicut university like all other colleges sasc had no placement cell. Only practical session we get is the project did in 6th semester.No they could providing such programs they only make money through us and suprant was extra ordinary fool and he could not know any thing about college process so couldn’t satisfied by there services.
