Admissions Open in Vasant Kanya Mahavidyalaya

Vasant Kanya Mahavidyalaya (V.K.M.) was inaugurated on the tenth Gregorian calendar month, 1954 by Dr. C.P. Ramaswamy Iyer, the then Vice-Chancellor of the Banaras Hindu University and has with success celebrated its Golden anniversary in 2004-2005. Its aspiration to achieve educational excellence has given it a rare chance to be “entered to the privileges of Banaras Hindu University” as per the choice of the B.H.U. educational Council and Visitor’s Approval (President of India).

In 2007 NAAC licensed VKM at B++ level for its all-spherical accomplishment and propagation important education among its students. distinguishing the large analysis potential of its schools NAAC has specifically counseled the school to be developed as a search centre.

In 2008 the school has started UGC sponsored Career orientating Programme in Spoken English and in 2012 another Career orientating Programme, viz., certificate Course in Fashion coming up with started still.

The year 2009 can stand as a milestone within the history of VKM. This year it starts functioning as a Post-graduate faculty. BHU has permissible to run PG programme and pH.D. analysis add the departments of English, Hindi, Home Science, science and social science.
