Why Institute of Law and Research?

The Institute of Law & Research (I.L.R.),Formerly Known as National Institute of Law and Research, Faridabad, was accepted in 2001 to conduct five years integrated Law course and three years Law course. The ILR, Faridabad, is the first self financed Institute in Haryana. The Institute is committed to impart excellent quality of legal study at par with the premier Law Institutes in India and abroad. The Institute has also made a calculated collaboration with International Court of Justice, Hague, Netherland for providing legal study of International standard. To meet the burgeoning demand of Legal study in the northern part of the country, especially In industrial hub of Haryana.

Building

The Institute is situated at lush green pollution free zone at Faridabad, surrounded by multifarious study houses. The Institute is housed in a newly constructed multi-storey, ultramodern building in lush green capacious campus spread over 5 acres of land with all latest amenities. The institute presently has 24 class rooms, Library, Principal & Administrative Office, Computer Centre, Faculty rooms, Audio-visual room and common rooms individually for boys and girls, Moot court room and a big conference Hall etc. The generator set has been position as an alternate source of electrical power. All other amenities involving water cooler equipped with R.O to make congenial atmosphere for study are provided.

Library

The Library is an integral part of educational endeavor in the Law institute and is being constantly enriched along the acquisition of the latest books and journals and keeping in view with the changing times to further advancements of the Institute, educatonal activities and hopes in future fordigital library for national and international challange.

The library is the heart of any educational Institution and plays an Important role in all educational activities and make easy access to the library resources. The library of the ILR is considered as a laboratory, where the apparatus for the law candidates are the classic law is available viz. newspaper, books, case law reports, magazine report and journals that are available in totall sets. The candidates would perform legal research like experiments to augment their studies by using these equipments in becoming the premier centre for legal study and research in 21st century.
