Admissions Open in Surat Municipal Institute of Medical Education and Research

SMIMER, being a Medical college, follows the foundations of Medical Council of India, Veer Narmad South Gujarat University & Government of Gujarat with a commitment to take care of highest standards within the field of Medical Education.

The M.B.B.S degree of the Surat Municipal Institute of Medical Education (for a hundred annual admissions) is recognized by the Medical Council of India & Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Govt. of India, Indian capital vide letter NO. U 12012/34/99-Me(P).

In the school year of 2009-10, is allowable to grant admissions for extra fifty underneath graduate students by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Govt. of India, Indian capital vide its letter F.No.U.12012/863/2008-ME (P-II).

SMIMER is related for collegian and Post graduate courses with the Veer Narmad South Gujarat University.

Building

Both faculty and hospital sections ar placed within the same field having a complete floor space of 18426.9 sq.m and 75216.53 sq.m severally and are developed with a complete expenditure of 4842.95 lacs by the Surat Municipal Corporation.

There ar four separate blocks within the medical faculty and every block being a 3 story building. Pre & Para-clinical departments are housed in Block "A", "B" & "C", whereas body section, as well as the workplace of the Dean, is placed in block "D”. within the body block there are numerous sections like institution, academic, student and accounts
