The Shri Krishna Ayurvedic Medical College & Hospital was established in 2011 by Dr. S. P. Yadav as “Shri Krishna Ayurvedic Chikitsalya & Shodh Sansthan” governed by “Gramin Evam Shahari Vikas Shiksha Samiti, Makan Vrindavan Colony, Sarsoli, Cantt, Varanasi”Shri Krishna Ayurvedic Chikitsalya & Shodh Samsthan is established for enrich the research knowledge about the Indian System of Medicine but after the certain time Management committee decide to open an ayurvedic college namely “Shri Krishna Ayurvedic Medical College & Hospital Rauna Khurd, Cholapur, Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh Pin -”The main objective of the Society is to promote the health awareness and care by Ayurvedic system of Medicine, because these are the ancient systems of medicine which are easily available & less side effect in comparison to the western system of medicine.The Shri Krishna Ayurvedic Medical College & Hospital imparts Bachelor Degree Courses in Ayurvedic Medicines (B.A.M.S.). The courses have already been recognized by the Central Council of Indian Medicine, New Delhi (C.C.I.M) and affiliated with Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapeeth, Station Road, Maldahiya Crossing, Varanasi- 221002 with recognition of Govt. of U.P Shri Krishna Mahavidyalaya provides education more than 3000 student each year in different courses with minimal fee. Shri Krishna Ayurvedic Chikitsalya & shodh Samsthan intends to popularise Ayurveda by offering low cost healthcare to the common people by initially covering about 3 lakh beneficiaries.

Library

A Library plays a vital role in the search of knowledge. It serves as the workshop for the entire college- students and faculty. C.R.D. ARYA MAHILA PG COLLEGE Library aims to support the teaching learning activity in the college and also provide the students updated knowledge and to ensure the optimum utilization of the available resources.The library is part of the institution since its inception in 1990 with 150 No. of books. The library is situated on the top floor of the college wing. It occupies about 3000 Sq. ft. and can accommodate about 100 students at a time. The library is provided with proper ventilation, lighting and fans. At the present time almost 17224 collections of books are housed in the library. The library is led by Mrs. Shraddha Mishra.

Computer Lab

The computer lab aims to provide basic functional computer services for students who may not have access to such technology at home or elsewhere. The computer lab provides an environment for students to get support and assistance with computer related issues. The CRDPG College, GKP computer lab is open to all students, faculty and staff.Computer lab was established in the college in year 2010 with the approval of B.A with subjects Computer science, Physics and Mathematics. The College has one computer laboratories with 60 computers in lab accessible to students. All the Computers in the building are connected in LAN. It has advanced infrastructure in terms of hardware and software which cater to the requirements of the students, teachers and the curriculum. The college is equipped with a dedicated broadband Internet connection for enterprising students get a chance to be familiar with the Internet. They do comprehensive research for their projects and presentations.

Confrence Hall

The College Has A Spacious Auditorium (321.62 Sq.M.) Known As The Dr. Ramraksha Pandey Memorial Hall Where Cultural Programmes, Seminars, Workshops And Competitions Are Held. The department has qualified committed professors to teach different classes at different levels i.e. B.A computer Application and other extracurricular activities related to computer. The faculty members make continuous efforts to see that the students must get expertise in practical implementation of tools they have in their curriculum.

Sport Curriculum Lab

Sports play a pivotal role in shaping one’s personality and maintaining good health. We’ve specially developed a sports environment that matches international standards and gives a truly global experience to all our students. All of which is provided to them on the campus. There are multiple sport facilities to keep our students engaged and physically fit.

Basketball

Being one of the most popular sports in colleges, basketball is played by a large number of students in the evenings. We have a dedicated basketball coach and a well equipped sports department to help the budding players in every way they can.

Football

The university campus has a football ground with lush green grass for the most widely played and followed sport in the world. An experienced football coach will train the team with all the required equipments in the evenings.

Table Tennis

Being one of the most popular sports in colleges, table tennis is played by a large number of students in the evenings. We have a dedicated table tennis coach and a well equipped sports department to help the budding players in every way they can.

SPORTS ACTIVITIES

1. Outdoor and Indoor Sports Facilities: Every student is encouraged to take active part in at least one outdoor activity. Glocal University has set up facilities/grounds for Cricket, Football, Basketball, Volleyball, Table-Tennis, Badminton, Chess, Carom, etc., and league matches are encouraged. We are also planning an inter-college sports tournaments to develop a spirit of healthy competition.

2. Special Coaching: We are proud to have quite a few states-level players who have played in the Nationals. One of our students was selected for the heats of a 1000 meter race in the Commonwealth games. Another student has represented India in Basketball .We plan to arrange special coaching for them so that they make our nation proud.

3. While games, sports and athletics directly contribute to physical development of students, other co- curricular activities also indirectly contribute to it. These activities provide a useful channel for the growth and development of the body.

Hostal

The Chandrakati Devi Mahila Girls Hostel, established in 2008 is located within the college campus and is an integral part of the College. Hostel affairs are co-ordinated under the guidance and supervision of the resident warden. The warden is assisted by hostel students’ union. The hostel committee under the chairmanship of the Principal frames the rules and regulations of the hostel and is the final authority in matters concerning the hostel. Due to the limited seats, hostel admission has always been a sought-after affair. The fact that admissions are only granted to the meritorious students provides an assurance about the quality. Chandrakati Devi Mahila Girls Hostel aims to provide a convenient and a comfortable stay for the outstation students. Also, it works to minimize the cost in terms of time so that the hostel residents can use the same for other significant purposes. The girls’ hostel also satisfies the vital objective of ensuring safety of girls.

Rooms

The Hostel has a total number of 36 furnished rooms. The rooms are allotted on sharing basis among two students. Cleaning is done on daily basis by the house keeping staff. The washrooms are separate from the rooms within the hostel.

Mess

The hostel has a separate mess where residents can take their meals. The mess is fully air-conditioned. It is managed by the residents under the supervision of the Warden and operated on cost basis. Wholesome meals are served to the residents in the mess. The menu is decided by the residents’ council. The mess is operated thrice a day – at breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Common Room

For the recreation of residents the hostel has a fully air-conditioned common room. News-papers and magazines are provided in the Common Room. Carom-board, Chess and Table Tennis facilities are also available to the residents in the Common Room. A big wall mounted Television with a modest home theater is also in place.

Sick Room

The College Sick Room is ready to provide health care service to all students at any time during college hour. The Sick Room is equipped with a bed, first-aid kit and medicines for primary treatment.

Hostal

The College is providing canteen facility to the students as well as teaching and non teaching staff of the college, it is capable of catering the demands of the students.Generally the college provides it to any individual on contract basis after proper official’s formalities.It is located at the center place of college campus. It provides hygienic and economical varieties of food.Breakfast, lunch are sold at reasonable prices. Other snacks, soft drinks are also available here.
