Keyi Sahib Training College,Located in Karimbam,Taliparamba,Kannur,has a short but proud tradition of teacher education making it one of the premier teacher education colleges in Kerala. The College seeks to foster an environment of intellectual excitement that enables both student and faculty to explore, study, and research critical education issues. It is permanently affiliated to Kannur University vide order No. Acad.A2/3452/01 dated, 09-08-2005 and recognized by National Council for Teacher Education. The institution has been included in the list of colleges under section 2 (f) and 12 (b) of the UGC act 1956 and it has been accorded minority status on 13th October 2011. The college is opened to students of all castes and creeds, providing amenities for the creation of healthy cosmopolitan atmosphere in the campus. It is an exclusive teacher education institution where we provide only bachelor degree in Education i.e. BEd. offered by Kannur University by following all the rules and regulations of NCTE. We are a Govt. Aided Institution which is run by CDMEA, a registered society
The college has been established and managed by the Cannanore District Muslim Educational Association (CDMEA), a Registered Society, No. S.24/ 1965 dated 24/ 07/ 1965 under the societies Registration Act XXI of 1860 and the personalities behind it. The college made its entry into the sphere of education in the year 1995 as one of the affiliated unaided training colleges under Calicut University and then acquired the status of an aided training college at the beginning of the academic year 1997-98. It has fulfilled the long-term need for a college of Teacher Education in the northern part of Kerala. Since then, the college has made amazing progress in all the spheres of its development.

The well-established library is functioning with 6500 books, 40 journals, and 7 newspapers.
