Why National Institute of Educational Planning and Administration?

The National Institute of Educational Planning and Administration (NIEPA), (Deemed to be University) built up by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, is a chief association managing limit building and research in arranging and the executives of training in India as well as in South Asia. 

In acknowledgment of the spearheading work done by the association in the field of instructive arranging and organization, the Government of India have enabled it to grant its own degrees by method for presenting it the status of Deemed to be University in August, 2006. Like any Central University, NIEPA is completely kept up by the Government of India. 

The National Institute has its beginning going back to 1962 when the UNESCO built up the Asian Regional Center for Educational Planners and Administrators which later turned into the Asian Institute of Educational Planning and Administration in 1965. Following 4 years of its reality, it was taken over by the Government of India and renamed as the National Staff College for Educational Planners and Administrators. In this manner, with the expanded jobs and elements of the National Staff College, especially in limit building, research and expert help administrations to governments, it was again renamed as the National Institute of Educational Planning and Administration (NIEPA) in 1979.
