The foundation was built up in the year 1984-85 vide Govt. notice 4202 dated 12-10-1984, under Deptt. of Science and Technology, Govt. of Bihar, with the goal of upgrading the ladies' interest in specialized training and improving the quality instruction as indicated by the cutting edge refreshed models, all around acknowledged around the world. At its origin, the foundation began with complete admission of 30 understudies in two certificate courses viz. Library Science and Secretarial practice. There had been an enduring and progressive improvement throughout the years and the foundation, at present, is bestowing training in six unique exchanges/courses with all out admission of 270 understudies including Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computers Science and Engineering, Architectural Assistantship, Library Science and Modern Office Practice.
