Basaveshwara College of Commerce, Arts and Science was built up in 1982 as an acknowledgment of a fantasy of the organizers of the Sri Jagajyoti Sahakara Sangha to begin an organization of higher learning.
The organization has the vision of giving quality instruction at moderate expense to advance comprehensive learning. Continually holding fast to the precepts set somewhere near Lord Basaveshwara, the College advances straightforward living and high reasoning. The scholarly year 2010-11 was especially significant for the individuals from the Basaveshwara society. The degree College which was set up with just the Commerce staff in 1982, gloats of Arts, Science and Management resources too now. The College commended the silver celebration in a stupendous and befitting way.
This NAAC certify foundation was reaccredited with a 'B+' grade in 2017, for a further time of five years. This has given a catalyst for further development and improvement. The College is situated in a decent local location and is well-associated with all pieces of the city. The homerooms are extensive and all around ventilated. The halls and staircases are wide and very much arranged. An enormous play area and a lovely nursery add euphoria to learning. The College has expanded the research facility offices sufficiently with the assets got from UGC and inward sources. The library has been moved to an all around arranged, sufficiently bright, extensive, new floor, and has a gathering of more than 26,000 books.
