Somaiya Vidyavihar is known for its vast and lush campus and is home to 34 institutions offering academic excellence in fields as diverse as medicine, engineering, commerce, Sanskrit and Buddhism. Her qualification in Somaiya made her world famous. Over the past 50 years, Somaiya Education Group has a proud track record of providing 'value-based quality education'. This university is one of the few young educational institutions located in the Somaiya Vidyavihar campus and has achieved fame in the field of education within a short span of time. This university had a modest start in 1995 with her 300 students offering only two courses. We currently train over 5,500 students each year and are proud to offer 15 different undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Inspired by the vision of our Founding Fathers, we strive to provide a quality, values-based education. For many years, we have strived to combine traditional education with modern courses to provide our students with the knowledge and skills necessary for gainful employment. SIGCE Navi Mumbai has a dedicated career support team that aims to support students' careers and equip them with knowledge, skills and training. SIGCE is Navi Mumbai's 'recruitment hub' with over 200 companies visiting the campus to recruit students. The placement team trains and prepares students by conducting aptitude and personality tests, personality development, communication skills and vocabulary, resume preparation and email writing, group discussions, interview skills, and mock mock tests. The highest package offered is 10 LPA INR and the average package is around 2.4 LPA INR. Potential recruiters include L&T Infotech, HCL Systems, Reliance Jio, Amazon, Accenture, Bitwise, TATA Communications, Johnson Controls, Honeywell, Siemens, Reliance Jio, TCS, etc.
The University Counseling Office was established to promote the mental health of KKCE families. The cells are housed in separate cabins on the university grounds. Part-time specialist counselors and counseling room faculty members carry out a variety of counseling room activities. The facility's goal is to promote a spirit of resilience and positive attitudes among student teachers. This process includes diagnosing the problems that student teachers will face in their personal, academic, and future professional lives and supporting them in overcoming these problems. All students take a personality test. We provide individual consultation to help students solve their problems. Group counseling sessions help students with common issues such as: B. learning skills. Both advisors and faculty conduct workshops for students on topics such as communication skills and dealing with difficult emotions. Experts will be invited to give workshops and guest lectures on topics such as dealing with adolescent sexuality. The counseling room is fully equipped with a variety of psychological tests, and is also available for loan to academic researchers. These tests are useful for examining students individually.
The New College Building "Aurobindo", is a well planned structure to provide the best infrastructure to the students. The open spaces, well ventilated class rooms and a modern impressive structure is an attraction point for students to spend more time in the premise.
The Computer Lab
With more than 42 computers, our Computer Laboratory is well equiped with latest hardware and software to suit the multi faculty requirements and the same is upgraded on a continuous bases to keep pace with the developments in the field.
Sound Studio
The professionally developed and designed studio provides the latest equipment and technology required to learn all aspects of sound, recording, editing, dubbing, mixing and film editing. The media lab is equipped with photography and handycams, Audio visual and public addressing system.
Gymkhana
A committee, consisting of teachers & students manage the activities of the gymkhana. The College Sports Department encourages interested students by allowing them to compete in various InterCollegiate Sports Tournament

Applicants must have a bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification with at least 55% of the total points. Candidates belonging to the reserved category must score at least 45% in PG and UG degree. candidate must have studied Mathematics or Statistics as one of the subjects in her 10+2 or above in the Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by the relevant authority, Govt. of Mumbai.
The admission process to the two-year program is completely centralized. All the candidates willing to take admission in an English medium Program college need to appear for CET and ELCT conducted by State CET Cell. Interested candidates are requested to visit the official website of the state CET cell to keep abreast of all necessary announcements.
