The Sultan-ul-Uloom Education Society, was established in 1980 by former bureaucrats and well known philanthropists, with the intention of setting up institutions imparting quality education from the Primary School level onwards. In 1980, the Society established the Muffakham Jah College of Engineering, which within a very short span of time, emerged as a leading and prestigious Engineering College, in the erstwhile State of Andhra Pradesh. The Founders of the Society, were on a mission and had a clear vision of filling the urgent void for establishing institutions in niche areas of Technology. Very soon under the aegis of Sultan-ul-Uloom Education Society, College of Education, College of Management, College of Law, College of Pharmacy, Junior College etc. were established. These institutions over the span of forty years have grown is reputation both at the State and also at the National level, as institutes of very high academic standards. Almost all the Constituent Institutions run by the Society have accreditation from the “National Board of Accreditation” and "National Assessment and Accreditation Council" and have won innumerable awards from the National Assessment Boards and Ministry of Human Resource Development etc. Leading national magazines and newspapers such as India Today, Outlook, The Week and the Times of India have ranked "Muffakham Jah College of Engineering and Technologyy" in the Top Engineering Colleges of the Country.

FOOD PRODUCTION
This department grooms students in culinary arts to master their skill in Food Production operations. Students learn the preliminary cooking techniques in the Basic Training Kitchen and then they are trained in bulk cookery in the Quantity Training Kitchen.In the final year the students are groomed to be a seasoned chef through extensive practical sessions in the Advanced Training Kitchen.
FOOD & BEVERAGE SERVICE
This department trains the students in fine dining service skills and also to a wide spectrum of mixology, where hands on training are imparted to develop managerial skills for restaurant and elite event operations.
FRONT OFFICE
“First impression is the Best impression” is the key motto of training for the Front Office department. This subject educates the students in reception skills for guest handling procedure and also teaches the core of business operation and profitability through training in Sales & Marketing and Revenue Management.
HOUSE KEEPING
The upkeep of an organization is the essence of a successful business, which is a major scope of this department. This department also imparts knowledge and skills in interior decoration and also adds value to the acquaintance and use of eco friendly products in the hospitality industry.
COMPUTER EDUCATION
To groom the students in technological skills, the college has a dedicated computer lab where the students are taught the nitty-gritty of computerized hotel operation & related software.
LANGUAGE/ COMMUNICATION SKILLS
The language lab is a one stop solution for students to upgrade their communication skills. The basics of language fluency with confidence in expressing self is taught here.

Library serves as a primary information resource centre for students, faculty and staff at SSCHM. It is our mission to support the curriculum and the comprehensive intellectual climate at the college. Candidates shall apply online for Muffakham Jah College of Engineering and Technology counselling to get admission to Programm course.For admission to Programm (Post-Baccalaureate) course, applicants shall apply online for Muffakham Jah College of Engineering and Technology counselling through its official website.Students who have passed 10+2 and have studied Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects with Mathematics/Biology as optional subjects are considered eligible to get admission to Programm course.The minimum eligibility criteria for the program is students must have obtained Degree.Students who have passed 10+2 in science stream are considered eligible to apply for admission to Programm course. The minimum eligibility criteria for Program (Post-Baccalaureate) course is that candidates must hold Degree.Admission to Programm course is given on the basis of the merit in the Muffakham Jah College of Engineering and Technology .through the counselling. Admission program is given on the basis of the applicant’s merit in the qualifying examination. Selection of the applicants for admission to the course is done on the basis of their marks obtained in Muffakham Jah College of Engineering and Technology entrance exam.
