Rajagiri College of Social Sciences (RCSS), together with its sister educational concerns, owes its existence to the CMI (Carmelites of Mary Immaculate) fathers, the first ever indigenous religious congregation for men in the Syrian Catholic tradition of Christianity in India. The CMIs drawing inspiration from their founding father St. Kuriakose Elias Chavara, a great visionary, reformer and religious leader of the 19th century, have proven themselves worthy of that heritage in the field of education by establishing institutions of excellence imparting quality education, across the length and breadth of the State, and in various parts of India. Admission Process of Rajagiri College of Social Sciences

For UG courses there is no entrance examination, marks in the Intermediate Graduate level are considered.

Admission to M.Lib.I.Sc and M.Sc is based on the marks obtained in the Entrance examination conducted by the college. The duration of the Entrance examination shall be one hour for 50 marks.

For M.Sc/MSW/ M.Lib.I.Sc/MLISc disciplines, the college has its entrance examination and GD/Interview.

For MBA admission candidates must appear in GMAT/KMAT/CAT examination.

For MCA admission candidates should qualify the Kerala MCA entrance examination.

Admission to the college is done through online mode. Candidates are selected through Entrance Based Examination conducted by the University.

Rajagiri College of Social Sciences Placements

About 50 percent of students were placed last year. The minimum salary was INR 15,000. The highest salary offered was INR 30,000. The top roles for our course include resource manager, office manager, occupational psychologist, etc. Top recruiting includes Connective Link, LMES Academy, Zartek Technologies, etc.

Not all good companies come here for placements. The placement percentage is very low. Even if we get placed, we only get basic salary packages. Salary packages are not good. The main recruiter is EY. Only a few students are placed. This college is not good for those looking for placements.

In this college, compulsory internships are provided and there is complete industrial exposure. Students are placed at leading tech giants and leading service-based companies like Wipro, Deloitte, etc.

Many companies came for the placement. Placements starts on 3 year. Many of the students get an opportunity to include in the placement. Big 4 companies like EY, KPMG come for the campus placement. Faculty gives guidance to the students. It also depends on the attitude of the students.
