TCS visited our campus for placement in my final year. Out of 300 students 51 students were selected for the post of BPO. I was one of them. Although I didn't join there but I was happy to be selected. It was a good job for a graduate student. But I hope there are more campus interviews and placement offers for students with a good pay scale. The pay scale should be a little better. In last two years minimum 100+ students get jobs in campus recruitment programs in our college. But due to covid 19 this year college couldn't able to organize campus recruitment. But every year it is organized and many multinational companies comes.
Our college has average placements and job opportunity's for students. In example in 2019 a campus recruitment program held in our college and out of 80 students 26 students get jobs in some multinational companies. There aren't any campus placements in our college. After completing my Bcom I am thinking to to do digital marketing course from outside Assam from a good institute offline. And also while pursuing my Bcom I would also want to do other courses as well related to ooh digital media, internet, commerce etc.
