PREC Maharashtra was established in 1983. It is a leading engineering college in Ahmednagar with 35 years of experience in providing professional engineering education and career-related curriculum. This university is affiliated with Savitribai Phule Pune University and recognized by AICTE. This university is accredited by NAAC and has obtained 'A' grade from DTE and Govt. of Maharashtra. Pravara Rural Engineering College offers courses at various undergraduate and postgraduate levels. In addition, several lateral entry courses are also offered. The university offers UG courses with 9 specializations, PG courses with 7 specializations and 1 PhD course in Mechanical Engineering. UGC and his AICTE, New Delhi have approved all related programs. We offer a variety of engineering courses to our students.
Pravara Rural Education Society has 102 educational units including College of Architecture, College of Engineering, College of Pharmacy, College of Agriculture and Biotechnology, Institute of Agricultural and Dairy Sciences, College of Arts, Commercial Sciences, Senior College, Junior College and Educational Institutions. Pravara Rural Engineering College is located at a distance of 2 km from Loni bus stand on the Ahmednagar-Sangamner state highway. It is directly approachable from Mumbai via Nasik & Sangamner or via Shirdi & Babhaleshwar and from Pune via Sangamner or Ahmednagar. Maharashtra State Transport runs frequent bus services. Belapur (Shrirampur) is the nearest railway station (22 km) on Central Railway line from where direct train services are available to Mumbai, Pune, Delhi, Nagpur, Bengalore, Jammu, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Madras, Trivendrum etc. The nearest airports are Pune & Aurangabad from where daily flights are available to Mumbai & Delhi. The College is situated at a distance of about 26 km from the famous holy shrine of Saibaba at Shirdi. The climate of Loni is mild, dry and salubrious. The college campus is spread over an area of 83 acres.

we have a good placement cell. the placement records here are good. many companies visit like Cipla, Lupin, etc. the highest package here was 7 lakhs per annum. the average package is 4- 5 lakhs per annum. nearly the placement percentage is above 50 %. many students also opt for post-graduation after degree.

Pravara Rural Engineering College, Loni has hostel accommodation for boys and the hostel is equipped with all modern amenities like a solar water heater, STD booth, reading room, cyber cafe, the emergency lighting system (generators). The PREC Loni boys' hostel has recreation facilities like TV, indoor games, reading rooms etc.
Girls Hostel
There is a separate girls’ hostel for students on the campus premises equipped with facilities like a solar water heater, STD booth, reading room, cyber cafe, the emergency lighting system (generators). Recreation facilities are provided in the PREC Loni girls’ hostel. Internet facility is also available in the hostel.

Pravara Rural Engineering College, Loni has a well-maintained library. PREC Loni library is equipped with large numbers of titles and volumes of reference books, textbooks and handbooks required for teaching-learning activities. Besides technical books, there are good numbers of books on management, and literature. The institute has a full-fledged computerised library with a total of 42285 books. The library subscribes to various national and international technical journals. The institute has implemented a book bank scheme, which allows students to borrow good textbooks for the duration of the term and encourages them to use additional reference books from the library. In addition to the usual library services, such as DELNET membership, which allows students to evaluate 300 different libraries across the country. Students have access to three units of e-journals.

Pravara Rural Engineering College, Loni has various outdoor sports facilities within the campus. The institute has large playgrounds for games like cricket, football, basketball etc. It also has indoor games facilities like badminton, table tennis, carrom etc. PREC Loni conducts university level competitions and encourages and motivates the students to participate in the different sports events.

Pravara Rural Engineering College, Loni has an air-conditioned central computer hall with 100 computers for conducting the online examination of FE & SE, as per Pune University. It also has a dedicated centralised computing facility.

The open door policies adopted by the laboratories enable students to develop self-reliance under the supervised guidance of expert lecturers.
