"One best book is equal to hundred good friends but one good friend is equal to a Library" - Dr. A.P.J.Abdul Kalam Our college has a well-stacked automated central library with 20000 volumes of technical books, books in science and humanities, national and international journals, CDs and leading newspapers, magazines and e-library. Every student is a member of the library and can have free and open access to and can borrow all books, journals and newspapers. CDs can also be borrowed for home viewing.

Internet

Our College has dedicated Internet Leased line of 10 Mbps, connected with Internet Lab and Library. Students and faculties are free to access Internet. This helps the students to prepare papers on the latest technologies to be presented in various symposiums and seminars.Interested students who are willing to go abroad for further studies can take up tests such as GRE and TOEFL, take up online mock test and also browse through websites of various universities of higher education around the world. The access speed enables the Students and Staff to download and upload files at a fast rate.

Canteen

A large Canteen with a capacity of 100 members to dine at the same time enables all students and staff to have lunch and breakfast. A large modern kitchen with steam cooking is attached to the mess hall. A modern bakery and ice-cream are attached to the mess. There is a separate floor one each for Vegetarian and Non-Vegetarian in the Canteen to dine.

Daily trips of college buses are available from specific boarding points covering all the nearby places in Coimbatore district and Kerala.

Sports

PSG Institute of Technology and Applied Research has a Physical Education department which promotes Sports and Games. The college has very good play ground and facilities for sports and games like Cricket, Volley ball, Football, Shuttle and Ball badminton, Chess, Carrom, Fencing etc. PSG Institute of Technology and Applied Research have gained a reputation for preparing and encouraging good sportsmen. Many students represent the University in various sports and games. A few students of the college have excelled and become National level sportsmen.

PSG Institute of Technology and Applied Research offers comprehensive hostel facilities within the campus. We understand that most of our students are moving away from home for the first time, so we strive to make the transition as smooth as possible by offering comfortable and safe hostels within the campus, providing a homely atmosphere. PSG Institute of Technology and Applied Research offers separate magnificent hostels for boys and girls with hostel warden in each hostel to supervise day to day management. All the rooms have been designed to provide adequate moving space and ample air and light. Each hostel has its own mess providing hygienic and nutritious meals three times a day. The menu is designed to cater to a range of taste buds.
