The BLDE Association is concerned in providing education, from primary to skilled education. it absolutely was established within the year 1910 by ‘Vachana Pitamaha’ the late Dr. P.G. Halakatti. The Century-old Association has revived its committed goal towards enhancing quality education by adding new establishments and new education programmes in its existing establishments.
The BLDE Association has been propagating education in Bijapur and Bagalkot districts, that area unit recognized as socially, economically and educationally backward areas by the British Government and by gift UGC, authorities and Central Government. Dr. P.G. Halakatti with alternative philanthropists of Bijapur based a co-operative bank and this association with a primary objective of propagating education.
In the year 1917, the Association created a humble starting by adopting a high school, bimanual over by a German Missionary, United Nations agency was returning to FRG as a result of World War-I. Thus, the journey of BLDEA towards conveyance education started.
In the year 1942, a nonsecular leader and a visionary Shri Sanganabasaveshwar Omaha Shivayogigalu of Banthanal ordered a firm foundation to the BLDE Association by the method of building varied instructional establishments. He contends a major role in developing the Association and established many faculties} and colleges conveyance Primary, Higher Secondary, and better education.
In the 60s another nice visionary Shri B.M. Patil took over the responsibility of reaching out education to the poor and also the poverty-stricken. along with his nice vision and persistence, a replacement dimension was given to the functioning of the Association, by establishing establishments to impart skilled education. Following, this BLDEA established associate degree Engineering faculty, Pharmacy faculty, Nursing faculty and also the Medical faculty, beside its own one thousand bed teaching hospital, a primary of its kind within the entire country.
