Admissions Open in Secondary Training College Mumbai

The Secondary Training College, Mumbai is the Premier Teacher Training College . The College was built up in January 1906 according to the proposals of Wood's Despatch of 1854 in the Bombay Presidency and solid advances taken by Hon. Emissary Lord Curzon.The College is the pioneer in advancing educator preparing approach and new procedures of instructing in then Bombay Presidency and at present in Maharashtra State. 

Beforehand the College delighted in self-sufficient status and used to grant its own recognition the Secondary Training College Diploma (S.T.C.D.) which should be very prestiogious one back then. At present the College is controlled by Directorate of Higher Education Pune under the leadreship of Department of Higher Education Manatralaya, Mumbai. 

Witticism 

The witticism (Let the Learning of Guru and Disciple be brilliant and radiant) is seen at the base of the Emblem, which is taken from Yajurveda (Krishna) ch.II (ii).These contemplations are symbolized in the Emblem wherein the beams of sun in the Arena of STC represent lighting up of educating, Learning and Training process. The enlighted student is spoken to as the light fire. Our item is the light conveyor of our Vision,Mission and Aim, who is prepared to illuminate the world

Our Mission is "Perfection through Training". To accomplish brilliance through a wide range of expert shiny learning and preparing of pre and in administration educators, is the Mission of the college.The sanskrit adaptation of the mission is. "Prashikshanat Pravinyam." 

Vision 

Our Vision is to plan Excellent Teachers through limit building preparing, with the goal that all encouraging network will distinguish our item and will mark it as a "STCIAN" Teacher.
