Admission Process of Mother Arts and Science College

Pass in Plus Two or any other equivalent Examination.

Any candidate who has passed B.Com or BBA (earlier BBS) degree of University of Calicut or B.Com, BBA, BBM or BBS degree of any other University or Institutes in any states recognised by UGC or AICTE with minimum of 45% marks or equivalent grade is eligible for admission. OBC and SC/ST students are eligible for mark/grade relaxation as per the University rules.

In the case of B.Com (Honours) and B. Com (Professional) students, the minimum eligibility for admission is 50% for all categories of students.Candidates who have passed (Eligible for Higher Studies) the HSE of the Kerala State Board of Higher Secondary Examination or any other examination recognised as equivalent thereto with at least one commerce subject are eligible for admissions to the B.Com degree course. Candidates who have not studied commerce subject for Higher Secondary or an equivalent examination not less than 45% marks are also eligible. A concession of 5% will be given to OBC/OEC candidates. The SC/ST candidates need get only a pass. (U.O. No.GAI/A2/1658/2007 dated 28.02.2008).Pass in Plus Two or any other equivalent Examination with not less than 50% marks in aggregate.Candidates who have passed (Eligible for Higher Studies) the HSE of the Kerala State Board of Higher Secondary Examination or any other examination recognised as equivalent thereto are eligible for admissions to the BTHM degree course. The age of such candidates should not be below 17 years as on the First of July of the Academic year in which the admission is sought.Candidates who have passed (Eligible for Higher Studies)the HSE of the Kerala State Board of Higher Secondary Examination or any other examination recognised as equivalent thereto, with not less than 50% is eligible for admissions. Campus placements are here in this college. On 5 semesters and 6 semesters onwards. Many reputed companies come here every year. Some of them are Infosys, TCS, Wipro, Yamaha, etc. But only some of the students are placed through campus placements.Alot of companies came there for recruiting freshers. Companies from technopark, infopark, cognizant, innovature etc. Alot of teams came there for selection. Alot of job opportunities are available for students there. That's an positive of our college. I'm also selected in one interview. I'm happy.College provided all the pass out students fir better placement carrier job opportunities after diploma ,or degree students ,after passing out go for a jobThe college has made arrangements for the placements and job oppurtunities in the college itself. There is an placement cell which are controlled by the placement coordinators among staffs and students inside the campus. So far enough job oppurtunities have been created by the college through the help of these placement cells.Good, placement programs are done from our colleges every year to many companies like wipro oen email etc and many of the students have been properly placed and some of them have decided to continue studies so not looking for any jobs.Today BCom course provides more opportunities than others. It helps to get job in banking sector or helps students to start own business more efficiently. They can even opt for CA CMA etc. There are many job opportunities available for BCom graduate.Yes placements and job opportunities are given to the students as per their academic performance and behavioral attitude.
