MES College of Nursing started in the year of 2004 with the approval of Indian Nursing Council, Kerala Nurses & Midwives Council & University of Calicut with in-take of the students for the B.Sc. Nursing Course is 50 year. The First batch of our Nursing College has passed out from the college in 2009. Now we are under Kerala University of Health Sciences, Thrissur from 2010 onwards. The College also offering M.Sc. Nursing Course with 5 specialties and P.B.B.Sc. Nursing course with intake of 20 & 30 students per year respectively. Our Nursing College has the rare distinction of being the first and only Nursing College that is attached to Medical College for providing clinical facilities for its students in Malappuram district and faculty of Medical College are taking classes of Basic Scinece to our students. MES College of Nursing is functioning in an exclusive four storied building with a spacious class room, most modern teaching technology and well-equipped laboratories for Fundamentals of Nursing, Community Health Nursing, Nutrition, Anatomy, Physiology and computer science. An excellent and scientifically classified library with a large number of essential periodical provides facilities to the student to do their reference and research work. Apart from the Academic proficiency, the aim at developing the cultural and sports talents of our student by giving them ample facilities and opportunities in those areas as well. A terms of highly qualified, well experienced and totally committed faculty members bestow their personal care and attention on the overall development of our student.

Admission Process for MES Nursing College

50% of the seats will be filled list by the DME (LBS Centre) as per the agreement with the Govt..

35% of the seats to be filled by the management as per the agreement with the Govt. of Kerala from date to date.

Preparation of Merit List - Merit list of candidates qualified for admission to B.Sc. Nursing course with reference to the eligibility criteria prescribed by the Indian Nursing Council New Delhi, Kerala Nurses and Midwife Council of Kerala state and Kerala University of Health Sciences, Thrissur will be prepared on the basis of the inter see merit determined by the marks obtained in the PCB of qualifying examination of the candidates.

The management shall be entitled to fill up the remaining 15 % seats by students who are dependents of Non-residents Indians.

We follow all the Rules & Regulations of the University & Concerned Authorities for the Admission Procedure.

Candidate shall be medically fit.

Student shall be admitted once in a year.
