Why Abdul Rashid Academy of Culinary Arts and Maritime Hospitality?

Having moved the Marine School to Nhava in 1912, nautical training was presented in 1915. On December fourth 1918, a request was submitted to the Governor of Bombay by around 650 seafarers of the nation for building up a marine preparing foundation for Indians. In 1925, the School was renamed as the Marine College, and subsidiary to Bombay University. Classes were led up to the Matriculation Level to fit the bill for the Home Trade Certificate of Competency. With 375 understudies on the register, the Marine College turned into the main preparing foundation to prepare Indians both as Ratings and Officers for the Mercantile Marine. After the destruction of Sir Yusuf, the youngster marine preparing Institution were named as Nautical Training Institute.

From that point forward the Institutions have experienced numerous hardships. Fatima Banu Hospital and sanatorium, Marine Museum and a Library were before long included.
