Maharshi Dayanand College of Arts, Science, and Commerce is among the earliest establishments of upper learning that emerged on the academic landscape of the erstwhile town of Mumbai. located within the heart of the town, amidst idyllic centers of learning, the faculty includes a majestic and aesthetically-designed structure and an abundant atmosphere. the faculty is one in all urban center�s previous colleges; it's for good related to the University of urban center and was accorded the UGC recognition beneath 2f in 1974. Its money standing is grant-in-aid. The progress of the faculty has been attainable because of the ready steerage and leadership of past Principals Late Shri. D. R. Samant, Late Dr. L. D. Mahajan, and Late Dr. H. R. Karnik. within the 1990�s Principals Shri. G. P. Shrivastava, Dr. B. S. Rawat, Prof. Suresh S. Pandit, Prof. (Ms.) S. S. Master, Prof. (Ms.) J. A. Gupta and Dr. L. R. Tiwari led the faculty towards achievements. Over the years, the faculty immensely benefited from the services of its eminent academics like Late Smt.
