College of Agricultural Technology, Theni could be a pioneering establishment of agricultural education in southern district of state, attached to state Agricultural University, Coimbatore. The College was established within the year 2010 and it's symbolically selected as CAT – Theni by the official records and also the public. The College is placed at the bottom of the foothills of Western Ghats of Kullapuram Village, at distance of twenty five km removed from Theni town and shut to the fertile ever inexperienced Cumbum vale and Vaigai dam.
