Before establishment of Tantia University, Sri Ganganagar Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences was under J.R. Tantia Charitable Trust and started in year 2006. Sri Ganganagar Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences is a constituent college of Tantia University under the Faculty of Pharmacy. The college started under the potential leadership and vision of honorable founder Dr. Shyam Sundar Tantia. He foresighted the need of a good pharmacy institution in Sri Ganganagar to later the needs of the people in this district and adjoining belt. Principals and faculty members have shaped the college to an ideal environment condition for studies. This motivation provides pharmacy education with in depth focus along with personality development and communication skills.
