Founded in 1946, BMS College of Engineering (popularly known as BMSCE) is located in Bengaluru, Karnataka. It is accredited by the NAAC with 'A++' Grade and a CGPA of 3.83 on a scale of four. It is the first college of Karnataka to be accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA). The college has been approved by the AICTE and UGC. Currently, BMS College of Engineering offers 13 UG and 16 PG courses in conventional and emerging areas. A total of 5,000 students are actively pursuing their higher studies and 350 research scholars have their PhD degrees at BMSCE. Also, the college is a partner institute of the Melton Foundation, USA.
BMS College of Engineering also holds a permanent affiliation with Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belagavi. BMSCE has been ranked 83 by the NIRF Ranking 2022 under the 'Engineering' category. The college consists of 18 departments under the streams of Engineering, Management, Science and Research. Eligibility For the college was done through the K-CET application form was given in office reception. There is an SNQ-based reserved quota for eligible students and for them fewer fees Non-teaching and teaching staff are friendly to us.
Admission through kcet with third round option entry I joined this collage. My total fees for 1 year is 110000 I paid 98984 in bank and remaining in the collage. I get reservations my seat was alloted in category in 2A. Not need of any improvements everything is good.
I got admission through management seat on the bases of my 12th percentage If I had applied for kcet concealing i whould have got more options due to my parents argency I took management seat As we looked for better college for my course this clg seems good And the faculty is good and labs where good. And fees was affordable as compared to other colleges we looked for.
The college registration is quite easy. But office staff is not well mannered. The reservation benefits are not available here. The college should be get improved in many ways. The process of admission is good.
Its pretty good, i am interested in engineering also, so i took the computer science and engineering. I taken the CET entrane exam, and my rank is 39k, so i got the east west college of engineering .
The admission process in this college was good the faculty interaction was good they gave good guidance and they will assign one faculty member for us to go through admission process the application form will be in college.
It was good the office members took care of us they instructed us to every step the told about how the college infrastructure is good and all the good things about the college and there was a faculty member to fill the admission form.
Boys Hostel
A hostel is a place where a student looks forward to being after a hard day at college. EWCE provides in-campus comfortable and well-hygienic hostel accommodation separately for boys We have been trying to make the hostel the next best place to be in after home. The warden manages the hostel and handles any issues that may arise in normal functioning. Technically trained & experienced staff looks after the hostel maintenance. For all hostel students who come from different states of the country having diverse tastes, the menu is planned as a mix of both North Indian and South Indian food with variety each day. Concentration is laid on hygiene, quality, and cleanliness of the food which is prepared in the hostel’s kitchen monitored & prepared by experienced and skilled cooks. A College Administration looks after the day-to-day functioning of the hostel. Students are encouraged to be actively involved in the smooth running of the hostel and help to maintain discipline and a healthy atmosphere.

The Library has a vast collection of 39,268 volumes of books with 10,812 titles, 85 national and international Printed journals, and a VTU consortium of e-journals (IEEE, SPRINGER, ELSEVIER SCIENCE DIRECT, TAYLOR & FRANCIS, and ASCE). EWCE includes a well-designed, calm, and spacious library containing a vast collection of reference books, textbooks, and journals & e-journals. The comprehensive Information Center provides resources to students with up-to-date information on all subjects. The Digital library has over 60000 volumes of books covering all branches of Engineering, Science, Technical & Management subjects. International and National journals are regularly added to the shelves to keep the students updated with current research and findings.

The students are eligible for placement after 5th sem. The highest package for AE went till 22 lakh and the average package is 6 to 7 lakh annually. The most companies come for placement for AE are HAL,Mahindra ,Tata and also some from Airfirce and Navy.
From 7th semester the students can eligible for placements, the highest package is 18lpa and the average packages are 5lpa , 60-70 percent students can place, different companies will visit like infosys, wipro, capgemini, etc.From 7 th and 8th semester students are eligible for campus placement and offers and In our college many IT 2 tier companies will visit and most of the students we get placement offers and highest package offered is 14 lakhs.The placement offers is not available in this campus. Moreover we need to look after overselves as a aircraft designer in future. The average package of this course that I've heard is minimum 20 lakhs per annum.I think from the 7th sem we are eligible for the placement. The companies regularly visited our campus are Infosys, HP, Accenture,Capegimini,Mindtree, Byjus, Wipro, TCS some other etc Average package lies in the range of 3-12L p.a Minimum of CGPA is 7 ,but some companies requires 8 .So always maintain above 8. My plan is to get a job in product-based company either in campus or off-campus.
