Shri Shankaracharya Technical Campus, an insignia among the technical institutions in the region is the first Autonomus College in Central India to be named after Adi-Shri Shankaracharya and blessed by all present Jagadgurus. This college was commissioned during the session 1999-2000 with the goal of providing undergraduate education in Engineering and Technology, a close interaction with industry, and a strong emphasis on research. Only through knowledge one attains liberation. We offer a wide range of educational programs in the field of engineering and technology, management, computer application & pharmacy . All our seven engineering branches are research centre for the aspirants willing to do Ph.D. It is a matter of great pride that the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) has awarded us Grade‘A’ and the National Board of Accreditation(NBA) has granted reaccreditation to all eligible UG programmes. We have a strong faculty base of highly qualified and renowned faculty members with more than 65 Ph.D holders and a good number of them are in the advance stage of completion of their doctoral work.

Recreation, Computer & Video Aids

A Recreation Hall is provided in the college with indoor games such as Table Tennis, Carom, Chess, Cable TV etc. All the students can avail computer knowledge. The computer facilities are updated and advanced to cover the latest developments in the world. The institute has arrangements to show video films on various subjects which are useful for the students.

Identity Card

ID cards will be issued to all the students after admission. The card will be valid only if it is  duly signed by the Principal with seal for same academic year only.The students will be allowed to enter the campus, only on production of his/her card. In  case ID card is lost a duplicated will be issued on payment of fees.

Power backup

1 Generators of 15 KVA is available to meet the requirement of 100% power backup.

Library

Library is the soul of our educational institution. The Engineering College Library has been an integral part of academic endeavor in college. Keeping in view intensive and extensive use, the library is being constantly enriched by the acquisition of latest books and journals keeping in pace with changing times, to further the advancement of the University's academic activities. Library is open for bonafide members though non-members can also utilize its resources with the permission of the Director.

Internet Facility

The Institute provides 24x7 Internet facility through 10 Mbps (1:1) leased line, NKN (National knowledge Network) a high speed internet network provided by Govt of India for sharable research with NITs and IITs. This Internet facility is available in all the Academics Departments, Library and various sections of the Institute .The Institution also have separate broadband connection of 2 mbps for backup use.

Transportation Facility

Institute has its own fleet of three buses to provide comfortable mode of transportation. The Buses cater to the needs of students residing in the surrounding areas of Raigarh city.
