Sullamussalam Science College is a first grade aided college affiliated to University of Calicut, approved by University Grants Commission and accredited by the NAAC with A grade. The College is located on the picturesque hills of Perumparamba on the banks of the river Chaliyar, a kilometer away from Areacode town in Malappuram District. The college is run by Muslim Educational Association, an educational organization formed in 1994 under the auspices of Jamiyyathul Mujahideen Sangam, one of the pioneer reformist muslim educational movements in Malabar. The college was founded with the objective of imparting quality education to backward minority communities in rural areas of Malabar. Girls Hostel
The College has provides excellent hostel facilities for students. Girls hostel is located on the campus itself so it makes easy access between college and students. The hostel facilities are of high quality and well equipped. The Girl's hostel can accommodate 100 girls. Members of the teaching staff are appointed as Resident Tutors in the hostel. The rooms provide the most modern facilities and privacy. The hostel system runs under the control of chief warden Aysha and a resident tutor. The mess is spacious, highly hygienic, and elegant. Internet and Computer Facilities are also available in the hostel.

The College has Digital Library is available in all Departments of the College, Women Resource Centre, Computer Labs, and Language Lab through Campus Network. Separate sections are arranged for the users especially in Reference Service, Career Guidance Corner, Comparative Religion, Bound volumes of the Journals, CD Bank, Question Bank, Subject Books.
Laboratories
The college has a well-equipped Physics Laboratory to provide an experimental foundation for the theoretical concepts. This helps the students to become knowledge providers in the field of physics and contribute to the growing need of society.
Auditorium
The College has an open-air stage has an approximate capacity of 1000 seating and is used for various cultural activities and public programs. The facility is being renovated with a green room and permanent seating and other facilities.
Cafeteria
The college has a well-maintained canteen. The canteen is spacious enough to accommodate a large number of students and also has a comfortable sitting arrangement. The canteen caters to refreshments and eatables for students, staff, and visitors.
I.T Infrastructure
The College has a central computing facility called Network Center, located centrally consisting of more than 148 computers. This is functional from morning 9 am to an evening at 5 pm with the assistance of the staff. All the computers are connected to the internet through 2 BSNL fiber-optic connections of 100 MBps speed and controlled by Cyberoam CR 35iNG firewall.
Gym
The college has a multi gym. There is equipment like 4 station multi gym, Elliptical trainer, Ab coaster, Leg curl, Hip twister, Ab king, Weight plates, lifting rods, Dumbbells, Treadmill, etc. for the use of Physical fitness training.
Sports
The College has encourages various sports activities like Cricket, Football, Badminton, Athletics, etc. The college has separate grounds for all these outdoor games. The ground is spacious enough for the students to play football, cricket, etc.

There are many placements are thereafter 3-year course. When the last sem there is many internships are there. Mostly going Bengaluru. Mysore it's very enjoyable. Many seniors are got jobs after study.Job opportunities are available in both government and private sectors with high salary packages. The college help the students choose the best job according to their skills. Many companies visit the campus for recruitment.The placement and job opportunities are enormous. Many companies visit the campus for recruitment of best talents. The college keeps the students updated with various job opportunities available for them.
There are many internship provided by our College.and in each year so many students are selected to BARC from our College.A student who is looking for a perfect future our College is the best place
Our college does not provide any internships meanwhile they encourage us to participate in several internships. I have participated in an internship which was conducted by Manipal centre of humanities but there was no stipend to that internship.A number of well know companies hire the students and some of the students from the college are placed in well know companies including TCS. And special coaching are provided by the college for competitive examinations. College doesnot provide internship.Placements and job opportunities are limited in this college. Sullamussalam Science college helps the students to achieve their goal but the college does not provide 100 per cent Placement. And also the college does not provide internship.
