S. D. P. School of Teacher Education, Tihu was built up May 1, 1994 and the school was named school of Teacher Education, Tihu at the season of its beginning. The land estimating 2B 4K 12 lechas and an Assam type and RCC working of 3000.72 sq.ft. (approx.). Were given by a liberal woman Mrs. Bulurani Pathak, girl recently Doloiram Pathak and Mrs. Sudharani Pathak on 27-03-1997. According to her craving, the school was named after her folks. Thus, it is renamed as S. D. P. School of Teacher Education, Tihu. The gave Assam type structures were utilized for study halls and different reasons for the school preceding applying for acknowledgment by the N. C. T. E. In this way, according to N. C. T. E. rules, the school expert has built another Assam type working to house every scholarly movement of the school.
