Since then, we have been providing education to students from rural areas and children of Matadi workers from villages around Kalamboli and Navi Mumbai for this noble cause. S.E.S established SMDL College to ensure that no one is unable to pursue higher education due to poor economic conditions. This university was founded with 53 students. The student population this academic year is around 680 and the university is affiliated with the University of Mumbai. Our school has a graduate center in the Faculty of Letters (Master's degree in History). Competitive exam center trains and motivates students for MPSC, UPSC, Banking and Railways exams. Every year, the university holds disaster prevention training for students and karate training for female students.
