AURO University of Hospitality and Management was came to existence in 2011 with Gujarat Private Universities (Amendment) Act, 2011. University was founded by Rama family and Sri Hasmukh (H. P.) Rama is the Founder President of University. University is located in Surat, Gujarat and is private university. H.P. Rama co-founder of JHM Hotels founded the university which split between into four companies from 2017: Sima Hotels, Siddhi Hotel Group, Auro Hotels, and Sarona Holdings. To ensure that students are safeguarded against attacks and threats is the prime concern of the university. Research Programme And Activities At AURO University

• For contributing to the process of creation of knowledge research is one of the principles of academic transactions of AURO University.  The objectives of the University state:

Registration

• Admission to Ph.D. Programme will take place in July session every year depending upon the position of vacant seats in the various disciplines. The applications will be submitted through online mode. Through advertisement on the AU website and/or in national newspapers admission schedule will be announced for session indicating the Disciplines on offer. 
• With the help of the approved list of evaluators provided by the University, Students Evaluation Division will get the answer scripts of entrance test evaluated centrally. Subject-wise merit list of the candidates will be sent to the Schools along with the schedule of admission which will be prepared by the Examination office after evaluation.

Eligibility

• With at least 55% marks should have Master’s Degree from a University recognized by UGC or any other equivalent.
• Entrance examination conducted by AU should be qualified.

  Auro University Scholarships:

  The university offers both need-based financial assistance and merit scholarships to eligible candidates. Undergraduate students who have secured a minimum of 70% marks in their qualifying exams and belong to financially challenged backgrounds having gross family income less than INR 3 lacs per annum are eligible to apply for need-based financial aid.
