Chaudhary Charan Singh University (also known as CCS Meerut or CCS Meerut University) was established in 1965. It is recognised by the UGC and approved by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). CCS Meerut is also accredited with A++ Grade by the NAAC. The university affiliates over 250 professional colleges/ institutions, 109 colleges, and one constituent college.
Through its various faculties of study and 35+ departments, Chaudhary Charan Singh University offers numerous regular and self-financed courses. CCS Meerut courses are offered at the UG, PG, and PhD levels. The university also offers certificate and diploma programmes in several disciplines. The courses are offered across Science, Arts, Law, Agriculture, Management, Technology, Education, and Pharmacy streams. CCS University Meerut admissions are both merit and entrance-based. CCSU also offers scholarships to meritorious students under various Government Scholarship Schemes.

As per the NIRF report 2024, the median package offered to BTech students during 2023 placements was INR 3.50 LPA. For UG (5-year) Law courses and LLM, the median package 2023 stood at INR 3.84 LPA and INR 4.05 LPA, respectively.
The official 2023 Chaudhary Charan Singh University placement details are not out yet. Earlier, a total of 57 students were placed during 2022 placements. The CCSU highest package stood at INR 37 LPA. CRTD Technologies, TERI, and IARI were some of the eminent recruiters that were part of CCSU placements 2022.
