The College was established in 1959 by the popular Gandhian Shri Brij Krishan Chandiwala in memory of his mom Smt. Janki Devi so as to advance ladies' instruction. In acknowledgment of the changing worldwide situation the College has changed its needs and points of view which is sufficiently reflected in the prospectuses and educational plans. JDMC, a chief ladies' College of University of Delhi, tries to advance suffering information which is worldwide in its point of view but then nearby in its pertinence.
