Fr. Albert Lebeau, S.J., was conceived in Belgium. He was a man of gigantic vitality and he was blessed with numerous social ethics. Refined, elegant and warm, he was hilarious as well. A high feeling of excellence was another remarkable attribute in Fr. Lebeau and this showed itself in his enthusiasm for music. He had the significant nature of pardoning and liberality and his otherworldly service was richly productive. With the assistance and participation of Fr. Causannel, S.J., Fr. Dhanasamy, S.J., and Fr. A. Gnanapragasam, S.J., likewise assumed a main job in the establishing and the early advancement of the College. Fr. Lebeau was designated as the main Principal and he effectively drove the College from 1923-1926. On 30th September, 1940, Fr. Lebeau left the world for unceasing harmony. The three parts of palm leaves on the correct side of the seal connote that our organization is arranged in Tirunelveli District. The ear of rice corn curved on the left half of the symbol speaks to Maruthanilam. The nearby images associated by a cross features the way that our own is a Christian establishment. At the highest point of the cross, the College adage, Veritate Lumen et Vita (Life and Light through Truth) is recorded. The shield at the front of the cross, has two divisions. On the privilege IHS., the Jesuit maxim is recorded. The squares on the left show the otherworldly, moral, enthusiastic, and scholarly improvement that instruction cultivates in an individual.
