Talla Padmavathi College of Pharmacy (TPCP) was started in the year 1997 to produce quality Pharmacists with a Degree in Pharmacy who could serve in, Industry, community and Hospital Pharmacy Setups. With this motto, Talla Padmavathi College of Pharmacy has embarked upon the pursuit of excellence with a mission of imparting a quality education in a good culture of environment for more than a decade. Talla Padmavathi aims of assemblage about a concourse of both education and entrepreneurship by imparting professionalism, character building traits and code of social ethics to student sodality. Talla Padmavathi has unvarying method in maintain quality of education, which draw reins the process of channelizing creative conceit of the students community.Our institute has been located at a peaceful and serine atmosphere in the tri cities of Warangal, a city of rich heritage and culture of THE KAKATIYA DYNESTY.Dr. J. Venkateshwar Rao, The Principal of college, who got 20 years of teaching and 10 years of Research experience, is associated with the college from its inception and the driving force behind the today’s Talla Padmavathi success. After successfully running degree course for a period of seven years, it was decided to introduce Post-graduation (M.Pharmacy course), in 2004 which added an extra feather in to the cap of TPCP to prepare graduates in Pharmacy to meet their ever-increasing global need in the Pharmaceutical industries, Drugs Control, Hospital, Teaching and Community Pharmacy. M.Pharm was started in 2004 in Medicinal chemistry specialization. M.Pharm in Pharmacology is being offered from 2008-09. M.Pharm in Pharmaceutics is being offered from 2009. Talla Padmavathi college of Pharmacy has got the privilege to start Pharm.D (Doctor of Pharmacy) course during 2008, as a part of Pham.D programme college has entered in to MOU with Warangal Hospitals, where our students will get trained in certain clinical Pharmacy services like Providing Drug information to Doctors and other allied health care professionals, Patient counselling, treatment chart review and ward round participation. TPCP is one among the 12 premier colleges in the state of Andhra Pradesh to start Pharm.D programme in the very first year of its inception in INDIA. From 2010 onwards M. Pharm in Pharmaceutical Analysis is being offered in the college. From the academics year 2011, our institution got permission for introducing Pharm.D (post-baccalaureate) and M.Pharm (industrial pharmacy) from Pharmacy Council of India and All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi respectively.

Computer Laboratory
Considering today's need for computerization, our College is proud to have all the infrastructure facilities in certain faculties such as Commerce, Geography and Mathematics. These departments have their own computer laboratories with modern equipment and necessary software (Microsoft Office, Mathematica, Matlab, Latex, C++ software, etc.) to meet the needs of students. In addition, the library also has an e-resource center, which provides access to e-resources among other things.
Library
Shahid Bhagat Singh College has a fully computerized barcode library. The library has a computer lending system with barcodes. We have two computers dedicated to OPAC (Online Public Access Catalog) book searches. This collection is enriched by his over 86,796 books on various research fields. The library also subscribes to over 100 of his periodicals in various fields (national and international, specifically Harvard Business Review, The Economist, etc.). The library also has a small computer lab for accessing electronic resources subscribed to by the College of Delhi through the College's intranet and the Internet. The Library also holds orientation programs from time to time and provides orientation in electronic resources for accessing bibliographic databases and full-text databases available through the College's intranet and the INFLIBNET Consortium and Information Literacy Program. Students are encouraged to inquire about various library services with Dr. Puja Anand Gulati, Librarian.
Canteen
The College campus has a spacious and well-ventilated canteen building with ample seating, separate from the academic blocks. We provide students and faculty with a variety of snacks, food, tea, coffee, and other beverages at low prices. The canteen committee monitors food quality, care and hygiene. A proposal to renovate the cafeteria was recently approved by the Building Committee and Board of Directors.
Seminar Rooms
The College has two seminar rooms equipped with state-of-the-art equipment. The College organizes seminars, workshops and lectures with the active participation of students and teachers. Prominent scientists and experts from academic and business organizations are invited to interact with students and give lectures.
